President, Construction Management

An accomplished professional with over 17 years of experience in construction and project management throughout Vancouver, as President of Construction at Performance Builders, Daniel leads his team to complete a full range of construction delivery methods for market housing, social housing, and mixed-use building development projects. As a professional engineer and certified project manager, Daniel sets the tone for the rest of the Performance Builders team with a commitment to Lean Construction Management practices and a culture of continuous improvement. Having managed multi-million-dollar projects from preconstruction to postconstruction with a strong attention to detail, Daniel understands all areas of the construction process and is experienced in building relationships and providing transparent communication with a wide range of project stakeholders. In his current role as President of Construction, Daniel works closely with building developers and project owners, guiding them through the construction delivery process while offering the highest level of customer service.

Business Development, Estimating

With over 40 years of experience in the Vancouver Construction Industry, Allan has worked in all areas of General Contracting, including Estimating, Project Managing (on both the Construction and Development sides), and Site Superintendent. As an experienced asset to the Performance Builders team, Allen brings a background in Mechanical, Structural, and Civil Engineering, as well as accreditations in Health and Safety and LEED sustainable building practices. In his current role in Business Development for the Estimating department at Performance Builders, Allan works with the Development Team throughout the preconstruction phase to identify potential challenges while recommending innovative solutions, adding value and maintaining profitability throughout the project.

Site Supervisor

With over 26 years of experience in the Vancouver Construction Industry, Peter oversees subtrades and crews of up to 30 members, on multiple multi-million-dollar projects. Formally an accomplished owner, manager, and craftsman of his own construction company, Peter is experienced in managing both residential and commercial construction projects, working closely with architects, engineers, and regulation associations. Peter is experienced in all aspects of construction, including site preparation, excavation, foundation, waterproofing, drainage, framing, building envelope, mechanical, electrical, roofing, finishing, insulation, civil, and landscaping.

Quality Control Supervisor

Kevin has worked in the Vancouver Construction Industry since 2003, and has been with Performance Builders since the company’s inception in 2007. With past experience as a Lead Hand and a Site Superintendent, Kevin brings a depth of knowledge in construction management with diplomatic communication skills to his current role as Quality Control Supervisor. Responsible for ensuring a high expectation of quality in the final stages of construction, Kevin manages all aspects of the handover of the units to the client, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition. Kevin also manages any warranty and maintenance issues as they occur throughout the warranty period of the project, ensuring any deficiencies are corrected.

Project Manager

Pouyan has worked in the Vancouver Construction Industry since 2010, with extensive Project Management experience across a wide range of residential development projects. Now In his role as Project Manager at Performance Builders, Pouyan manages the preconstruction of mixed-use multi-unit wood-frame and concrete-midrise residential projects up to $30M, maintaining weekly progress reports with critical budget and schedule updates. In addition to preparing detailed bid summaries, Pouyan is heavily involved in managing the tendering process throughout the preconstruction phase by reviewing, evaluating, and analyzing received bids, as well as issuing letters of acceptance for construction contracts.

Project Manager

Alan brings over 25 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Vancouver Construction Industry across a wide range of residential and commercial developments, including buildings with LEED Gold designation. Having managed projects at every stage of the construction development process, Alan supports Performance Builders from the initial conception, budget, and tender stages, throughout the construction and completion to sales stages, including post-construction warranty. Alan is an active member of the Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of BC, with a background in Civil Engineering and Architecture.

Field Expeditor

Jose has been working with Performance Builders in the Vancouver Construction Industry since 2017, with experience as a Finishing Superintendent Lead Hand, Assistant Site Supervisor, Project Coordinator, and Field Expeditor. Jose has earned an excellent reputation as a problem solver with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational efficiency, and contributes to the profitability of every project with superior attention to detail and organization skills. Jose is motivated and eager to excel in construction at the highest level, and has significantly improved his activity planning and scheduling with advanced knowledge and training in BIM 360, SiteMax, and other construction software applications.

Site Superintendent

With 35 years experience in the Vancouver Construction Industry, Jack is responsible for all aspects of site coordination throughout the construction process at Performance Builders. Heavily involved from start to completion, Jack’s role includes review and consultation of plans, as well as maintaining communication with all major project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and other professional consultants, as well as city officials and inspectors. Jack is also involved in coordinating subtrades and time schedules, while overseeing Occupational Health & Safety measures and monitoring, maintaining, and scheduling the delivery of materials and supplies on site.

Field Expeditor, Coordinator

With a background in carpentry, framing, and formwork, Justin has been working in the Vancouver Construction Industry since 2015, with experience as a Construction Safety Officer, Project Coordinator, and Field Expeditor with Performance Builders. Justin’s responsibilities include providing updated construction schedules to track and monitor all progress on-site, as well as organizing site meetings to maintain critical project timelines. Justin is also involved in receiving, organizing, and submitting quotes for approval, with eventual sign-off on all subcontractor contracts.

Safety Coordinator, CSO

Dalvir has been working in the Vancouver Construction Industry for over 10 years, with a focus on Occupational Health & Safety since 2013. As a Safety Coordinator and Construction Safety Officer with Performance Builders since 2018, Dalvir oversees all OH&S compliance and enforcement, and leads with a proactive, ongoing process to prevent workplace incidents with a thorough Hazard Identification and Assessment program. Dalvir has received multiple levels of Health & Safety training and certification, and is committed to planning, managing, and maintaining a comprehensive OH&S program for Performance Builders, ensuring all construction projects are operating in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.
